    Pacific Encounter joined the P&O fleet in 2021 joining the Pacific Explorer. Pacific Encounter showcase’s many of the P&O favourite features that the Aussie public have grown to love as well as a host of new ones.

    Enjoy beautiful views whilst relaxing and enjoying a luxury level of service for dining, tours, embarkation and disembarkation. You’ll love the relaxed breakfast setting in Angelo’s as well as the healthy foods and wraps from the Byron Beach menu throughout the day.

    Food and Drink

    Food and drink options onboard the Pacific Encounter are aplenty. The Lobby is a cool new place to chill out from morning to evening, other options include Charlie’s, the Deli plus Ivy & Brie. Meet new friends for coffee or in the afternoon for a cocktail and a cheese board whilst enjoyed some live background music. Some of P&O’s old favourites are still around for your dining including WaterfrontAngelo’sDragon Lady or have a casual meal in the Pantry. P&O maybe family friendly, put they also see the need for a child free area, this is the Oasis offering cocktails and a perfect view of the ships wake.

    P&O Australia are always looking to introduce new and exciting experiences that enable you to get the total cruise experience. Onboard you’ll find a Casino featuring the usual favourites like BlackJack, Roulette and Poker. Combine a dinner and a show with P&O original productions or head on down to the adults only comedy club. The Pacific Encounter also has the staple cruise activities such as bars & nightclubs and trivia and game shows. Don’t miss out on the P&O White night, a party night where all you wear is white!

    Onboard the Pacific Encounter you’ll find plenty of activities to suit all cruisers needs. P&O offer classes at sea to teach you how to make the perfect cocktail, dance classes to perfect the tango or even coffee making classes. Are you a sports nut? Pacific Encounter has basketball courtstennis courts, and lawn bowls for the karaoke kings they also sessions allowing you to belt out your favourite songs! For the adrenalin junkies you must try out the P&O Edge Adventure Park which is the largest adventure park at sea. Other favourites include golf putting, table tennis, shuffleboard and more.

    Wellness and Fitness

    Some cruisers simply want to chill and not do much at all on holiday, after all you want to relax don’t you? On the Pacific Encounter why not have some retail therapy with a host of shops at your disposal. Or hit the sauna to sweat it out, visit the hair salon and create a whole new you or simply get a drink and relax in the adults only Oasis area. The Spa onboard allows you to leave all your concerns behind and start your self renewal. Once in the Spa you’ll be treated by qualified therapists who really know how to renew mind, body and spirit. Other services include spray tansbody scrubs and a range of beauty treatments.

    Pacific Encounter has an abundance of activities for children. Lets start with the Water parks! P&O have interactive as well as amazing water slides and pools which are great for some fun under the sun. The P&O Edge Adventure Park will get the blood pumping featuring a funnel climb, slackline and even walk the plank. There are also plenty of sports to create some healthy family comps including lawn bowls, table tennis and basketball to name a few.
