Food and Drink

There are no set dining times, no assigned seating, and no need for formal nights either. For those of you who like the traditional main dining style, you can opt for Dynamic Dining Classic, and this is available on a first come, first serve basis. You will also find the usual onboard speciality restaurants as well as Jamie Oliver’s restaurant Jamie’s Italian. Here you can enjoy rustic, Italian dishes that are made from seasonal ingredients along with tried and tested recipes.

Entertainment

Entertainment whilst onboard is one of Carnival Splendor main features. You will find something for everyone whilst onboard your cruise. For the evenings head down to the theatre and sample one of the many productions Carnival have to offer. Do you like movies? well why not head down to the pool and take a movie in whilst enjoying a drink poolside. As Carnival are known as the fun ships stands to reason they have their own comedy club, the Punchliner comedy club will always make you laugh out loud!

Activities

Onboard the Ovation of the Seas, Royal Caribbean introduced a host of new concepts that we’re referred to as “game changers”. The first one being the North Star, a London Eye-type capsule offering you 360-degree view of your current location all from 90 metres above the sea! Their second game changer is the RipCord by iFly. Here, you will experience skydiving in a safe and controlled environment this was the first ever skydiving simulator at sea. Game changer number 3 brings you to the SeaPlex. This is the largest indoor active space at sea. Here, you’ll find activities such as bumper cars, roller rink, basketball court, circus school, floating DJ booth, and also a food truck! Finally game changer 4 is the Bionic Bar, where technology meets mixology. The Bionic Bar along with the bionic barmen can mix two cocktails a minute with their expert precision, ensuring that your thirst is well and truly quenched.

Wellness and Fitness

Onboard the Ovation of the Seas you will emerge renewed and refreshed after visiting the Vitality Spa. Here you’ll experience a range of professional spa products featured brands such as Elemis, bliss, la Therapie and Ionithermie. Other sevices available include massages, wraps, facials and medi spa treatments to help smooth out the wrinkles. Ovation of the Seas also features salons to get your perfect hair and even a tooth whitening service!

Children’s Facilities

Ovation of the Seas is a family friendly ship and has heaps to do for children of all ages. The Adventure Ocean is a place that offers programmes for multiple age groups offering interactive facilities. The Fuel Teen Disco is a full on disco for teenagers to dance and listen to their favourite tunes. Then there is the H2O zone, a splash park featuring water slides, cannons and waterfalls.
