Liberty of the Seas is one of Royal Caribbean’s Freedom Class ships and has recently been renovated to include all of the innovative onboard experiences cruisers have come to expect when sailing with Royal Caribbean. You’ll now be able to have a boogie with hit Broadway-style show Saturday Night Fever playing onboard. Liberty of the Seas is a huge 160,000 gross tonnage and has a maximum cruising speed of 21.6 knots. There’s also a staggering 1,360 crew members onboard to ensure your holiday goes without a hitch.

Liberty of the Seas Features
You can enjoy all of the Freedom Class features onboard the Liberty, such as the FlowRider surf simulator, the rock climbing wall, the ice skating rink—Studio B, the royal promenade, mini golf, and the H2O water park. There are also relatively new offerings including the DreamWorks experience, featuring superstars such as Shrek and Fiona. Check out the 3D cinema or snuggle up with your partner for poolside movies under the stars.
There are four pools onboard, including the adults-only solarium and six whirlpools, two of which sit over the ocean. Cruising is family-friendly on the Liberty, with kid’s clubs such as the Royal Babies & Tots Nursery all the way up to the Adventure Ocean Youth Program, giving you some free time to relax.
Liberty of the Seas Cuisine
With so many dining choices onboard Liberty of the Seas, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Don’t worry, there’s time to sample them all! From the formal dining options in the main restaurant to the Windjammer buffet at the other end of the scale, and the 24-hour snacks and international cuisine available. Check out the latest addition to Liberty of the Seas—the Cupcake Cupboard, a vintage-style bakery offering 30 different types of cupcakes. Speciality food options onboard are extensive, including a Johnny Rockets Restaurant, Portofino Italian Restaurant, Chops Grille Steakhouse, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, and Sorrento’s Pizza. If you’d prefer to relax, you can have snacks delivered directly to your stateroom with 24-hour room service.
Liberty of the Seas Staterooms
After a hard day enjoying yourself or exploring another fantastic port, there’s nothing better than relaxing in the comfort of your own stateroom. There are four main types of stateroom onboard, from interior and ocean views to balcony rooms and suites. All staterooms feature as standard two twin beds that can convert into a Royal king-size bed, private en suite facilities, TV, and telephone. The interior rooms typically measure 150-square-feet. There’s also an exciting new feature for some interior rooms—a virtual balcony offering a live view from outside on an LCD screen in the stateroom.
