Rotterdam, with around 590,000 people, is the second largest city in the Netherlands. It also one of the three cultural centers in the country. The city is the known for its skyscraper skyline and its many museums, festivals and events.

Kristiansand is located on Norway's North Sea coast. This region of Norway is known for its beautiful landscape. The city has many attractions such as the Christian Holm Fort from 1667.

Stavanger is a former 'European Capital of Culture' located near the world-renowned Preikestolen, otherwise known as the 'Pulpit Rock'. Pulpit Rock, is arguably Norway's most picturesque spot, towering approximately 604 above the Lysfjord. Seyðisfjörður is a small town in eastern Iceland tucked inside the fjord of the same name. The town itself and surrounding area is strikingly beautiful and home several waterfalls. You might consider taking a hike along the river on the popular trail that starts in the town. The town is well known for old wooden buildings and the “blue church” is one of the most recognisable sights.

Akureyri is a city with an approximate population of 18,000, located in northern Iceland. The city is known for having a stunning natural landscape, which means that there are many opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities. One of the most unique opportunities which can be enjoyed in Akureyri is the chance to witness the Northern Lights between September and April. Akureyri is located at the base of the Eyjafjordur, another example of the stunning natural surroundings.

The fishing village Grundarfjöður is located on the Snaefellsnes penninsula and is surrounded by a diverse landscape. Here you can find volcanoes, glaciers, lava and rock formations as well as various bird species.

Nuuk is the capital of Greenland, which politically belongs to Denmark but is also subject to self-government. The town is the largest of Greenland with approximately 18 000 inhabitants.

Qaqortoq is the largest city in South Greenland. Near the harbor is the oldest fountain in the country. In addition, there are some old buildings from the colonial period.

Reykjavik, with a population of approximately 120,00 may not be the biggest European capital, but it is widely regarded as an exciting destination and Icelands cultural and economic center, having been established as a city in the 18th century. Reykjavik provides the perfect base for exploring nearby landmarks such as fjords, glaciers and more. There are strong connections between the city and the Vikings, with many visible signs still remaining today, such as the Longhouse at Hofsstaðir Historic Park.

Runavík is a comparatively urbanised village in Runavík Municipality, Faroe Islands. Founded in 1916, Runavík has an important port.

The small tranquil town of Invergordon is the starting point for many trips to Scotland and the British Isles. Embark on a quest to Loch Ness or marvel at the fairytale-like castles of Dunrobin and Urquhart. With a bit of luck, you might also be able to spot some dolphins in the Bay of Invergordon. South Queensferry, also known as "The Ferry", is situated on the banks of the Firth of Forth, just west of Edinburgh. Due to the favourable location of the Scottish town, a quick trip to Edinburgh is an absolute must. There are also quite a few attractions in South Queensferry: The Black Castle, the Tolbooth, St. Mary's Church as well as the two bridges, Forth Bridge and Forth Road Bridge, are worth seeing.
