The hull on the Breakaway was designed by famous New York artist Peter Max. There are more than enough activities onboard to fill every minute of your holiday, whether you fancy a swim in the Aqua Park featuring the Free Fall – the largest waterslide at sea or get yourself down to the multi level sports complex and walk the plank which actually extends 8 feet over the side of the ship! Naturally the Norwegian Breakaway also has multiple bars onboard including the only ice bar at sea and a casino. The Breakaway can accommodate 3,969 passengers and has a gross tonnage of 146,600 and was built in 2013.
Norwegian Breakaway Cuisine
Norwegian Cruise Lines introduced one of the biggest game changers in cruising with their Freestyle dining concept, meaning you’re no longer stuck to the same dining time day after day and you can have your evening meal whenever you wish to. The complimentary dining options onboard include 3 main dining rooms, a buffet and a variety of casual cafes, grill houses and on the go choices.
