The largest beaches Doctor's Cave and McCatty offer wonderful views and a great place to relax. One of the attractions is Rose Hall, a restored manor house on a sugar plantation, built in 1760.

Roatán is a Caribbean Bay Island that floats about 60 kilometres north of mainland Honduras. The largest of the islands, it is famous for its white sand beaches and numerous snorkelling and diving sites. Together with its sister islands of Roatán, they make up the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second largest coral reef in the world, which is home to diverse marine life, such as whale sharks.
