Puerto Limon is Costa Rica's biggest port city on the Caribbean coast. The city's port is very busy all year round, the ships are transporting truckloads of fruit and other goods. Although, cruise ships stop for a visit regularly between October and May, Puerto Limon is not as welcoming and pampering to its tourists as one would hope.
