Ijmuiden is a town of 30,000 inhabitants in northern Holland at the southern entrance of the North Sea Canal and is the ideal starting point for a trip to Amsterdam. Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands and has approximately 770,000 inhabitants. Besides the historic buildings that were often very high, but built very narrow, you will find many museums and religious buildings. Newcastle-upon-Tyne is a city in the north east of England. It lies on the banks of the River Tyne and is home to Newcastle University. Belfast is the capital of Northern Ireland and is fast becoming a European cultural capital. The city is well-known for its connections to the Titanic. Home to the Beatles and football, the historic port city of Liverpool is located in north-western England and since becoming a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004 and was 'European Capital of Culture' in 2008, it has become one of the UK's major tourist destinations. Liverpool is mainly known for its sport and music scene. Anfield, home of Liverpool FC, is a must see for any sports fans. Fishguard is a coastal town in Pembrokeshire in the south-west of Wales. Known to locals as Abergwaun, the Welsh name for the town, Fishguard is in a deep valley at the mouth of the River Gwaun and has a breathtaking landscape, typical of Wales. The town is a great destination for history enthusiasts as it was the home of both Viking and Norman settlements as well as the site of the last invasion of Britain in 1797. Cruisers can also get a taste of more modern traditions in a British pub.

Falmout is located in Cornwall, southwest England. The city has about 22 000 inhabitants and is known for having the third largest natural harbour in the world as well as for often being a starting or finishing point for world boat races. Some of the local attractions include the National Maritime Museum of Cornwall as well as the Pendennis Castle which is now used as a museum and own by English Heritage. The city also offers plenty of natural beauty with its parks, laurel mazes and Rhoderdons.
