Savusavu is a town on the northern island of Vanua Levu and is one Fiji’s best kept secrets. Many tourists don’t take the opportunity to go Fiji’s “other big island” but they don’t know what they’re missing. The area is well known for its hot springs and this is it’s biggest attraction for visitors and locals alike. There are also great some of the best diving spots in Fiji such as the Namena Marine Reserve (according to many Fiji’s best). Of course there are beautiful, secluded beaches for anyone who wants to spend their time off the ship relaxing. The best thing about beaches in Savusavu is that they are generally less crowded and more private than others your find in Fiji.
