The second largest port in France can be found in Le Havre, a town in the northwest of the country. With almost 180,000 inhabitants, Le Havre is the largest town in Normandy. Local attractions include the city centre, which was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005, the Church of St. Joseph, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Bridge of Normandy. The 'Pont de Normandie' with a span of 856m is the largest cable-stayed bridge in Europe.

Cherbourge Harbor was built between 1776 and 1835 on an artificial island in Normandy. Due to its location, its counted amongst the most important naval ports in France. In the local museum, visitors will find interesting information on the topic of the Second World War. You are also invited to take a stroll in the 100 year old Parc Emmanuel Liais, which hosts a variety of exotic plants.

Southampton is a historical port city located in Hampshire county, southern England.
