Valparaíso is a port city on the west coast of Chile. With seemingly endless number of brightly painted houses and charming port it’s easy to see when Valparaíso is a World Heritage City. Take the funicular Ascensor Artilleria train to the top of Cerro Concepcion for a stunning ocean view. For those looking to take to take it easy, a number of vineyards are found near the town where world-famous Chilean wine is produced.

The South Shetland Islands are a group of islands stretching over 500 kilometres. The islands include Elephant Island, Deception Island, Half Moon Island and many more across Antarctica. On the islands there are volcanoes, some of which are still active.
