Wellington, nicknamed "Windy Wellington", is the capital city of New Zealand. Boasting a compact and charming downtown which is diverse in it's architectural styles and also ideal to explore on foot. From Mount Victoria, rising above the city, catch glimpses of ships sail through the harbour and see the city light up as the sun goes down. The city is well known for having a "cafe culture", being home to countless intimate restaurants and coffeehouses.

Picton is a large port town in the Marlborough region which is situated in the North East of the South Island of New Zealand. Tourism in Picton and the surrounding area is very much focused on wildlife and the local landscape. Picton is an ideal base for exploring the inlets and islands of the stunning Marlborough Sounds. There are numerous day cruises to areas such as Lochmara, where guests can expect to find bushwalks, encounter New Zealand's unique wildlife as well as experience traditional Kiwi culture. Tourists are advised to visit the Whaling Museum and the restored ship, 'Edwin Fox' which is showcased in the port area.

Kaikoura, a small town in Canterbury on the South Island of New Zealand, is a picture perfect cruise destination. Two of the most breathtaking sights are the Seaward Kaikoura mountains, part of the Southern Alps, and the Kaikoura peninsula which can be best seen by taking one of trails up to one of the mountains in the area. The main tourist attraction in Kaikoura is however undoubtedly whale watching (it’s one of the best place in the world to spot sperm whales) as well as swimming with dolphins.

Akaroa is a former French and British settlement located just south-east of Christchurch. The harbour of Akaroa was formed by two extinct volcanic craters eroding and merging over time. A highlight for many is the opportunity to kayak in the crater of a volcano! Walking trails as well as cycling tours are also popular and representative of the outdoor lifestyle enjoyed by locals.

Timaru is situated on the South Island of New Zealand in the South Canterbury region. Visit the most important museum in the entire region, the South Canterbury Museum. Oban is the main town of New Zealand's most southern island, Steward island. The sparsely populated town allows for an abundance of unspoiled nature, which makes the last inhabited island before the Antarctic so beautiful. The Island is known for many great hiking trails as well as a rich variety of bird life making it quite popular with birdwatcher and hikers a like. The shallow waters, populated with many species of sea life make for fantastic diving. The fishing town of Oban is situated on Halfmoon bay and is sometime known as such.

The Fiordland National Park is located in Southern New Zealand and covers an area of ​​over 12,500 square kilometers making it the largest national park in New Zealand. It is surrounded by the fjords of Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound and Dusky Sound as well as extensive lakes. The Fiordland National Park is one of the few parks which belong to the "Te Wahipounamu World Heritage Area" which was established in 1952. Depsite it being difficult to access, the park remains a grand attraction of New Zealand and has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1990.
