Ijmuiden is a town of 30,000 inhabitants in northern Holland at the southern entrance of the North Sea Canal and is the ideal starting point for a trip to Amsterdam. Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands and has approximately 770,000 inhabitants. Besides the historic buildings that were often very high, but built very narrow, you will find many museums and religious buildings. From the Rijksmuseum (National Museum) on the famous Anne Frank House to unique churches and great markets in Amsterdam, there are many things to do and see.

Stavanger is a former 'European Capital of Culture' located near the world-renowned Preikestolen, otherwise known as the 'Pulpit Rock'. Pulpit Rock, is arguably Norway's most picturesque spot, towering approximately 604 above the Lysfjord. The Old part of Stavanger, located West of Vågen, is known for the large number of 18th Century buildings, mainly wooden cottages which have been beautifully preserved and are definitely worth a visit. Rosendal is a small town with less than 1,000 inhabitants. However, here one can visit the museum and learn about Norway's barony, the time of the union between Norway and Denmark. Also interesting are the Shipbuilding Museum and the Kvinnherad Church, which was built in 1250.

Eidfjord is a small town that sits at the end of the Eid Fjord, the innermost branch of the fourth longest fjord in the world: the breathtaking Hardangerfjord. The Norwegian town is also located on the Hardangervidda, the largest mountain plateau in Europe. As the town offers both the water and the mountains, visitors have a wide range of outdoor activities to choose from, whether it be swimming and fishing or hiking and cycling.

Kristiansand is located on Norway's North Sea coast. This region of Norway is known for its beautiful landscape. The city has many attractions such as the Christian Holm Fort from 1667.

The harbor city of Skagen is located at the northern tip of the Jutland Peninsula in Denmark, at the point where the Baltic and the North Seas meet. It captivates with its picturesque landscape, cityscape of typical yellow buildings with red tile roofs and the second largest lighthouse in Denmark. Skagen is also famous for its rich art heritage. Artists flocked to the city in the mid-19th century drawn by the impact the radiant light had on the rugged seaside landscape.

Some of the attractions include, the royal palace, government buildings, the Storting parliament building as well as the town hall, where each year the Nobel Prize is awarded.
