Champion Island or Isla Campeon in Spanish is a small islet located off the northeast coast of the Floreana Island in the Galapagos, Ecuador. The island is virtually uninhabited and, visually isn't so alluring. However, upon entering the turqouise waters around it, you discover the spectacular underwater world. There are reef sharks patrolling the reef wall, Pacific green turtles and the Galapagos sea lions - all of which are pretty easy to spot from the cruise ship as the water is very clear.
