The city of Fort Lauderdale in the U.S. state of Florida and makes an ideal holiday destination. Due to the many canals in the city, Fort Lauderdale is also known as the American Venice. Acajutla is situated to the southwest of El Salvador on the Pacific Ocean and is the most important industrial and harbor city of the country.

Puerto Quetzal is Guatemala's largest port on the Pacific Ocean. The southern part of Puerto Quetzal is particularly important for both freight and passenger transport. The Arch is a distinct rock formation in the region and is only accessible at low tide as the vast sandy beaches are submerged when the water is high.
