In the colourful city of Willemstad, experience the hospitality of the inhabitants. After the discovery by the Spaniards in the 16th Century, the island was conquered by the Dutch. In the capital of St. Lucia, you will find one of the finest harbors in the West Indies. A large part of the islands exports of bananas, sugar cane, rum and syrup pass through Castries. The city was founded by the French, whose influence is felt today. The backdrop to the town is the mountain of Morne Fortune, which is an ever-present reminder of the natural beauty to be found all over the island if you venture away from the colourful buildings, markets and stores.

Gustavia is the capital of the French island of St. Barthelemy. Gustavia is a reminder of the past when the island of St. Barthelemy was leased to the Swedish, named after Swedish King Gustav and having characteristic red-roofed houses lining the tropical hills. There is plenty of oppurtunities to discover the history and culture of the island at the Wall House Museum or even just a trip to the lively Le Ti-Marché open-air market. One of the many quiet cafes give you a perfect place to enjoy the stunning views out into harbour.
