The Peruvian capital Lima is also the largest city in the country. Together with the port city of Callao, it forms the so-called metropolitan area. Lima's historic centre has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990. With a mixture of Western influences and indigenous cultures, Lima has developed into a tourist destination not to be missed. Make sure not to miss the site of Pachacamac which is about 40 km south-east of Lima. This site dates back to A.D. 200 and was a religious site built before the Inca invasion of the area.

San Martin is the gateway to the quiet colonial town of Pisco and its fertile coastal valley, the Inca palace complex at Machu Picchu and the Galapagos Archipelago.

Arica has a population of 185,000 and is popularly known as the "City of Eternal Spring". Arica impresses not only with its gorgeous beaches and sparkling blue water, but also with its attractions such as the Archaeological Museum and the Customs House, which was designed by Gustav Eiffel.

Iquique is located in the north of the South American country Chile and is the capital of the Region de Tarapacá. Iquique impresses with its palm-lined streets and the beautiful beach resorts.

The city of Antofagasta in northern Chile lies on the edge of the Atacama desert. More than 300,000 people live in the city. The name comes from the Quechua language Antofagasta, meaning "village on the Great Salt Lake."

The Coquimbo port is home to two shipwrecks. Located on the highest mountain in the city and with a height of 92 meters, "The Cross of the Third Millenium' is the city's best-known monument. Near and around the city, you will also be able to visit some of the local wineries.

Located in the Valparaiso Region, San Antonio is the busiest port on the western coast of South America. The main activities within this commune are fishing excursions and trips to the surrounding vineyards and national parks. Cruisers can also take the short trip to the larger cities of Santiago, Chile’s capital and largest city, or Valparaíso.
