Nuuk is the capital of Greenland, which politically belongs to Denmark but is also subject to self-government. The town is the largest of Greenland with approximately 18 000 inhabitants.

Kapisillit in southwestern Greenland has under 100 inhabitants and is only accessible by boat or helicopter - there is no road outside to Kapisillit.
