Cologne is located in the German state of Nord Rhine-Westphalia and enjoys a great location along the Rhine River. Cologne has much to offer visitors outside of the renowned Gothic Cologne Cathedral, where visitors can enjoy panoramic views over the whole city from the tower of the Cathedral. Cologne is also home to the Schokoladenmuseum which allows visitors to learn about the process of making chocolate while also offering delicious samples. Cologne also has a love-lock bridge of its own located by the Cathedral, where many visitors come to add the the collection of padlocks while taking in stunning views of the River Rhine.

In the north of Belgium, along the Scheldt river is Antwerp, a city known worldwide for the important role it plays in the processing and trading of diamonds. Antwerp has its very own Diamond District, visitors can partake in walking tours to learn more. The historic center of Antwerp is characterized by many well-preserved buildings from the late Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque and Art Nouveau periods. Ghent is Belgium's third largest city with 240,000 inhabitants. In addition to the Old Town, the Castle of the Counts is one of the main attractions in the city. Built in the 15th - 17th Century, this town hall is also worth a visit.

Dordrecht, besides Amsterdam and Rotterdam, is the third largest city in the Netherlands. Dordrecht Island is on the Three Rivers Corner, the busiest waterway in the country. Local attractions include the Grote Kerk (a Gothic church with an unfinished tower) and the National Park De Biesbosch.

Lelystad is a port city located in north-central Netherlands. It is the capital city of the Dutch Flevoland Province. Lelystad is quite a new city, built in 1967 after the water was drained out of the East Flevoland Polder. This means that the city has no old town or historic centre like most of the other Dutch cities do. However, Lelystad does make up for it in modern and natural sights. The city also hosts many one day events throughout the year like the Lelystad Airshow, the Water Festival and others.

Harlingen is a Dutch port city that hasy many quaint old houses with stepped gables. Due to its proximity to Wadden Sea, the port is very popular with sailors.

The attractions of the 12th Century medieval town includes several churches, the city gate, and well-preserved houses from the 17th and 18 Century.
